sample format

hi!

are there any rules on the supported sample formats?

i uploaded native instruments synthetic drums as .wav (as far as i know 24 bit 48 kHz). i used ssh with cyberduck to upload a bulk.

ricepad displayed the samples but didnt play them neither with [preview nor when loading them into the sampler.

i then converted to 16 bit 44.1 kHz and uploaded again which didnt work either. might be possible that the samples were mono. not sure. just tried this morning before work as i am flying home today and wanted to take ricepad with some more samples with me.

gonna have a laptop with me and will try further at the airport.

Hi,

I guess you've uploaded your sounds into the wrong directory. Please put them into the User folder, or any subfolder. There most formats will be read.

Cheers
